FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL: Monday, August 19th.

BOOSTER CLUB STEAK FRY:  Saturday, August 24th, 6:30 - 10:00 PM at American Legion.

PICTURE DAY: Friday, September 13th.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: There will be an SRC Club meeting on Wednesday, August 21 at 7:45 A.M. in the West gym.  If you earned a letter in any activity last year, you should attend.  The meeting will end by 8:00 A.M.  Please be on time. 

All required school paperwork requiring signatures must be completed and returned to the office by Thursday, August 22nd.

Drop / Add for students in grades 9 - 12 is open now until the end of the day on Tues., Aug. 20th.  See Mrs. Voss with your possible requests.

There will be 9 - 12 class meetings on Friday from 3:25 - 3:45 pm. Meetings will take place in the following locations:

Freshman- Mrs. Schueth’s room
Sophomores- Mrs. Hofmann’s room
Juniors- Mrs. Rabourn’s room
Seniors- West Gym

6th - 8th grade students: Please make one dozen baked goods to bring to the SRC Booster Club Steak Fry for dessert. You can deliver the baked goods Friday evening (23rd) or Saturday afternoon to the Shelby American Legion Club.

High school- The fitness center will be open from 7:15 - 7:45 am Monday-Thursday for in-season athletes to weight lift. 

7th - 12th Grades - FFA will have their first meeting of the school year on Friday, August 16th starting at 7:30am in the Ag Room! Any student interested in participating this year in grades 7th-12th are encouraged to attend! Breakfast will be provided. We will be sharing information for the next few months and discussing National FFA Convention! Please plan to attend! 

There will also be a National FFA Convention Informational Meeting on Friday, August 16th at 6:30pm the in the Ag Room. Members who are interested in attending should attend with a parent. 

Nylon Drawstring Backpacks Needed - The School Backpack Program is in need of nylon drawstring backpacks.  We use these bags to send home food items for our participating families.  If you have any of these bags and would like to donate them please bring them to the Elementary Office.
