Mrs. Georges’ first grade classroom has been collecting tabs for the Ronald McDonald Charity House in Omaha for many years. The class was currently working on the goal of reaching 3 million tabs before the end of the school year. We made it! The current tab total is now 3,031,000 tabs! Wow, this is an awesome accomplishment for the first grade SRC Huskies!
The Shelby – Rising City School will continue to collect tabs in the future. We encourage everyone to save tabs. It is easy! Simply remove the tab off any can and save them in a plastic bag. Then drop the bag of tabs off at the Shelby-Rising City School office or Mrs. Georges’ house.
