Shelby-Rising City Public Schools

The Nebraska-Hispanic Latino Youth Summit was held on Monday, October 21st and 10 students from Shelby-Rising City had the opportunity to attend. The Summit seeks to equip youth with college planning and career path information through sessions. Students were able to choose from the categories listed below each session that they found interesting or best fit their career plans. Each session involved a keynote speaker chosen for their ties to the Latino community, their success in overcoming adversity, and their message of hope.
