Shelby-Rising City Public Schools

The class of 2020 spent the morning completing service hours for Project Linus. Project Linus provides fleece, crocheted, and knitted blankets as well as quilts to those in need. Hospitals, Law Enforcement, Foster Homes, Child Advocacy centers, and Homeless Shelters are just some of the recipients of the blankets.  "The most interesting part for me is seeing our progress in such a short time," said Jade Obershaw.  Approximately 16 blankets were made during the project and they will be distributed by the class during the third quarter.
