WorldStrides Day 5 - the Final Day Rainy, wet and cold this morning just like back home. We tackled the subway, took the ferry to the Statue of Liberty, walked the Financial District and toured the 9-11 Museum. A busy yet fulfilling day! Attempting to get home but battling some delays in Chicago - going to take just a bit longer.

This week we celebrated National School Breakfast Week, our ladies at the cafeteria did such an amazing job getting things ready for the kids who participate in our breakfast program. They colored pages and did different activities every day, we had a short week but it was a very good one. Yesterday, the kids received their certificates of participation, they also had tables at both entrances to share some healthy breakfast items with the students who are not participating in the breakfast program right now. Shout out to Shelly, Laura, Michelle, Jackie, and Michelle Kalin Gray for making this week a success 🖤 💛 💙
