The Nebraska Music Educators Association (NMEA) All-State Choir is an elite, audition-based honor ensemble for Nebraska students, typically selected through a rigorous process.
Selected students rehearse under a nationally known conductor and perform at the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln as part of the annual NMEA Conference/Clinic.
Tonight was that night!

Elementary students had an exciting STEAM Day as we celebrated the 67th of school! Students learned what STEAM stands for as they rotated through hands-on stations. Students explored a dinosaur world using VR headsets and coded various robots. Engineering challenges kept them thinking creatively, especially the aluminum foil boat experiment to test how many pennies their designs could hold. Students also loved expressing their artistic side with 3-D pens. It was a fun, high-energy day, full of curiosity, problem-solving, and celebration!
