All junior students will be taking part in the ACT exam on Tuesday, March 24. This is state-required testing, so it is important that they are here at school on that day. The exam will begin in the morning during first period and will take several hours to complete. Lunch will be provided for students.
At the conclusion of the ACT exam, students who are on the track and field team will be transported to the track meet in Sutton. The remaining students will be able to leave the building if they have a permission slip signed by a parent. Permission slips and ACT parental consent forms were sent home with students today.
Please sign these forms and return them to school by this Thursday, March 19.

We are so proud of these young musicians for being accepted into this year’s Nebraska Class C All State Band! Even more impressive, three of them were named first chair on their respective instruments! 🎶👏
Jessica Bauers and Urijah Grant will be performing in the High School Symphonic Band, while Dylan de la Rosa Armas and Cora Kooyman will be performing in the Junior High Honor Band. The event will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Kearney High School.
Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment! Your hard work and dedication to music continue to make us proud. 🎶
