🥛TEAM UP with CHOCOLATE MILK🥛
We would like to thank Southwest/Southland Dairy Farmers for a grant that helped supply chocolate milk for SRC! Milk consumption acutely increases muscle protein synthesis, leading to an improved net muscle protein balance!
We look forward to supplying milk for our students in future endeavors to continue to help promote healthy growth and push further success with our activities!

Recently, Butler County had their 4-H awards night. Aubree Siffring, Alexa Carter and Rylie Carter all received District awards in Agriculture!
Aubree was chosen as the Butler County Outstanding 4-H’er of the year. She received her belt buckle for winning the Round Robin Showmanship this summer. Aubree also was chosen to attend the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta Georgia at the end of November.
Congratulations to all of you ladies for your hard-work & dedication!

This Saturday, from 2pm to 4pm, the Shelby Friends of the Library, SRC School Clubs, Shelby Chamber of Commerce, Area Businesses & Clubs are putting on a Trunk or Treat on Walnut St. in downtown Shelby!
All are welcome to join! See attached flyer!
Attached is order form for state wrestling tickets - will need to be turned in no later than Nov. 14th. Please get order forms, & checks to TANNER KUHN, before Nov. 14. SRC is Class D this year (Sessions 1, 3, 5, 6). MAKE ALL CHECKS OUT TO SRC WRESTLING. Thank you.
There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in going out for high school girls basketball in Mrs. Schueth's room right after school on Monday, Oct. 31 at 4:00 pm. This should last 10-15 minutes.
The November 1 deadline is nearing. Get your youth basketball forms in ASAP! The team fee is not applied, it is just $25 for the whole winter season! Any questions, call me at 402-615-2361.
🇺🇸Veteran's Day Program Alert🇺🇸
On November 11th, SRC will be hosting a veteran's day program for all community members. Below is the list of the events:
- Rolls and Coffee for Veteran's and family : 8:30am - 8:55am
- Program begins: 9am
- Cookies and Drinks for Veteran's at Rising City (Legion) with presentation by
HS students: 2pm

The volleyball season comes to an end with a three set loss in subs. The Huskies finish with a 21-10 record. Thank you seniors for your hard work! Great season!
