⭐️ NSLA Distinguished Administrator Award goes to SRC⭐️
The Nebraska School Librarian Association honors a school administrator who has made worthy contributions to the operations of an exemplary school library and to advancing the role of the school library in the educational program.
Mr. Tucker Tejkl was this years award recipient who was nominated by Mrs. Mandy Peterson.
"It is a great honor to accept this award but it is easy to support our library and all the great things that go on within its walls because of our great leader in Mrs. Peterson! We continue to work together to make our library that is not only great for our students, staff and community members; but to make it a safe place as well for all. I thank everyone for this and I am very humble to be this years recipient."

Red Ribbon Week coming up next week and we will have dress-up days to celebrate! We look forward to all participating!
What is Red Ribbon Week?
National Family Partnership, formerly the National Federation of Parents for Drug Free Youth, was established as a grassroots, nonprofit organization in 1980 by a handful of concerned and determined parents who were convinced they should begin to play a leadership role in drug prevention. Since its founding thirty years ago, NFP has devoted its efforts to the well-being of youth. Today, NFP is a national leader in drug prevention education & advocacy. Our mission is to lead and support our nation’s families and communities in nurturing the full potential of healthy, drug free youth.

Happy fall break!
