There will be no snacks/breakfast or lunch on July 4th (Monday).
Also, due to the gym being refinished, our kitchen will be CLOSED the week of July 11th-14th while fumes subside.

S-RC was well represented this year for the Yorkshire Playhouse Children's Theatre performance of Peter Pan! Shout out to these actors for working on their skills during the summer...and having fun while doing it! The first SRC golf camp for boys and girls in grades 5-8 will be August 2nd and 3rd at Ryan Hill Golf Course from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Take a look at the form and sign on up! Paper versions will be available at the school in the offices.

Opportunity for our students to have the chance to play organized flag football! Any interested 1st/2nd & 3rd graders who are interested in playing, the signup sheet is attached or located in the front office. If interested, please contact Lindsey Crook. Due by next Monday (the 20th)! We are gathering numbers to see if it is possible for teams. Please make any checks payable to Lindsey Crook ($60) and turn into front office with Sue or Tucker. Games take place in Wahoo on Saturdays.
🗣S-RC community members…FBLA needs your help!
Our FBLA chapter has a very LARGE amount of leftover breakfast items available for sale (free will donation). Our main goal in the end is just to try to get back what we had spent on purchasing these items.
These are all leftover from the BRAN event. What an AWESOME day our community members put together for these riders yesterday!! 🙌🏻
WHAT DO WE HAVE? Several bunches of bananas, full packages of ambrosia apples, several homemade muffins, and a large variety of breakfast/granola and homemade bars. If you would be interested in purchasing any of these items please email Sara Jensen at sjensen@shelby.esu7.org or stop by the football concession stand today until 9 AM.

Jam packed Friday coming up with BRAN (Bicycle Ride Around Nebraska) through Shelby! There are many opportunities to support our communities and student/staff led activities!
Come on out for food, friends and fun! We have many groups who will be serving food throughout the day!
Don't forget...Girls & Boys Husky Basketball Camp starts tomorrow (Tuesday, June 7) morning at 9 am until 11 am. Be early and let's get better!! Can't wait to see the Huskies in action working hard!
Mrs. Bauers spent three days last week learning about 3-dimensional teaching and using storylines with OpenSciEd curriculum. A lot was learned about the science of bath bombs and all the ties to the standards. Topics in science students, this will be a potential unit this coming year. She gives the OpenSciEd curriculum 👍 👍.

Guidelines established by NDE:
- Must eat in cafeteria (the NDE said the point of this was for interactions with all students before covid derailed that). That is for both breakfast/snacks and lunch
- Single meals and snacks (can't double up for the weekend or for Fridays) If you have questions, please call the office and ask for Mr. Tejkl or Mrs. Velasco.
Shoutout to these StuCo members for their help in landscaping and planting flowers in RC!!! Special thanks for the donation to purchase supplies!
