A new addition that will be going up in our activities hallway!
Terry Fusco’s family dedicated a memorial in his honor to Shelby-Rising City Public Schools in the form of a Husky. This is a very generous act that will serve as a focal point as students, staff and community members enter our facilities. Terry began his career in education at Shelby schools as a K-12 PE teacher, 9-12 Physical Science teacher, Drivers Ed instructor, football, basketball and track coach, Activities Director, and Elementary Principal, retiring in 2004. He then took a job as Administrative Consultant of Reading First for the State of Nebraska. He was a dedicated man and as his wife, Marie said, “You could find him in two spots; either at home or at the school because he loved being at the school helping whoever and however, he could.” Thank you to the Fusco family!
From Left to Right: Tucker Tejkl, Mark Fusco, Jeff Kuhnel, Becky Trotter, Steve Fusco, Marie Fusco and Geoff Ruth
