Starting Tuesday, August 17th, the weight room will be open for 7-12 students from 7:15 am-8:00 am before school. It will also be open from 4 pm-5 pm after school. Workouts will be in the weight room for students to follow.
Jr. High athletics begin today! Football will check out & volleyball is practicing. Reminder, all practice times can be found on our school website by going to the activities & practice calendar under school info.

Great scrimmage today by our SRC ladies who make up the Blue River Softball team! Still some things to work on, but overall, coach thought it was a great day. Keep working to get better and we are looking forward to the great year!

A sweet treat was the perfect ending to a great first week of practice!
The Shelby - Rising City FFA Chapter is excited to congratulate the following past member on earning the American FFA Degree! Congratulations to Carson Rathje, Taylor Steager, and Jayce Vrbka on earning the highest degree obtainable by an FFA member! These three members will recognized on October 30th at the 94th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Our explore class with Mrs. Peterson & Mr. Schoenrock had students testing their STEM projects. The goal was to make a freestanding structure that is capable of holding marshmallows up. The structure was made of spaghetti sticks!

Shelby - Rising City Schools is participating in the USDA’s waiver which allows schools to operate the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) for School Year 2021-2022.
What this means for you:
Your student(s) will receive meals at no cost for the entire 2021-2022 school year.
This sheet will be at all the open house and we will need all parents to fill out...Important: Your student(s) will continue to receive meals at no cost for the 2021-22 school year regardless of the eligibility determination of your household’s SY2021-22 application.
Final Reminder: this DOES NOT cover SECONDS or extras (like smoothies), just first meal. Please fill out the form and return to office so we can turn into the state.
