🏀🚨GAME TIME @ FULLERTON - Fullerton is going try to start the girls varsity game as close to 6 pm as possible. (JVs at 4:30, boys varsity to follow the girls varsity).
Winter Sports Senior Night will be Friday night, Feb. 12 during the GBB/BBB game against Osceola. We will honor our seniors who participate in cheer/dance, wrestling, and basketball.

Yesterday FFA members competed in their first round of Career Development Events. Members competed in Floriculture and Livestock Judging!
We would like to congratulate the Junior Livestock Judging team of Kaylei, Aubree, Alexa, and Rylie for Placing 3rd in our district and to Aubree, Alexa, and Rylie for placing in the Top 10 Individually!
Round 2 of our CDE contests will be coming up in March!

Saturday morning's (Jan. 30) reserve basketball game with Aquinas will be BOYS ONLY and it will be played at 9 am in the WEST GYM. The GIRLS reserve game has been canceled.

This year the Shelby - Rising City FFA Chapter has been participating in the Connecting Chapters program through Nebraska Farm Bureau. The goal of Connecting Chapters is to increase agricultural literacy awareness, knowledge and appreciation in the schools elementary classrooms and community. As part of this program the chapter has four tasks to complete throughout the school year. In our second task FFA Officers and Ag Members had the opportunity to read "Tales of a Dairy Godmother" to Kindergarten - 2nd grade students. Along with this task the chapter also donated the book to the Shelby Community Library for all students and community members to check out and read!
