The Shelby-Rising City Music Department is proud to announce that Kasey Fischbach and Nevaeh Martinez have been selected to represent our school in the 2025 Nebraska Music Education Association All-State Chorus! Being selected as a member of this ensemble is among the highest musical honors a student can achieve in the state. This honor recognizes their incredible talent, hard work, and dedication as musicians.
The All State Chorus will be under the direction of Dr. Pearl Shangkuan, a highly sought-after conductor, lecturer and clinician who has led performances and workshops on six continents. Rehearsals will take place from Thursday, November 20 through Saturday, November 22 in Lincoln. The event will culminate in a public concert at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 22 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts, UNL campus.
