What makes a great school and who makes up wonderful communities?
It is the people!
We here at Shelby-Rising City Public Schools can not tell you how much we appreciate all the helping hands through these crazy weather conditions. There are so many to thank, but I wanted to say thank you to those staff members who helped keep our building warm, sidewalks clear, or cleaning on the inside. Thank you to the family members/patrons who lent their time and effort to clear parking lots, road ways, and/or for heaters. Thank you to those students who helped suck up water or clean up debris.
Without the contributions from everyone, I'm not sure if any of this would have been possible! It surely does take a village, but know your actions speak volumes. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.
Thank you to all the road crews of the counties and villages who made transportation possible as well!
We could not be in school without you all!
