The Blue River Panthers have two athletes who received all-state honors today. Rylie Carter was named All-State Honorable Mention by the Omaha World Herald & Danica Watts was named All-State Honorable Mention by both the Omaha World Herald & the Lincoln Journal Star. Congrats!

On Saturday, the weekend got even better as One Act was named Fairbury One-Act Invite Division A Champions!!!
Ellie Frederick, Jordyn Donner, Kreyten Zimmerman, Aiden Zimmerman, Kasey Fischbach, Clare Willis all received acting awards.
Fischbach was named overall best actor!
On Friday, Aiden Zimmerman, Kasey Fischbach, and Clare Willis received acting awards at the York High School K-Dub One Act Festival! Also, Fischbach was named Best Supporting Actor of the Contest!!! The whole cast and crew did an amazing job!!! #LegendOfSleepyHollow

The Jr. High wresters spent their Friday night in David City. Congrats to Sanchez, Schueth, and Kornegay for winning their division!

First grade HAL students just completed their project about community businesses. We researched different types of businesses, created 3D models, wrote a description about each of them, and put them all together to build our very own town!
The Unified Bowling brings home a W with Braxton, Ethan, and Aubree winning the triangular! Way to go!

District Livestock Judging (Ag Park, Columbus), 8:30 am
⭐️Grant Award Recipient⭐️
We are excited to announce that SRC applied for a grant to assist with Equipment for our kitchen and we were selected out of many applicants around the state. We were fortunate to be awarded $33,758.71!
This will go to an expansion of our walk-in freezer which will allow us: (1) spacing for product and freezing fresh food & (2) additional space which will allow us to move forward with our Beef Club/Farm to School Program to offer fresh meat for our students & staff because we will have a place to store it.
We are hopeful to start the expansion during Winter Break and look forward to what this can do for our district! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Tejkl.

Here are the results from today's first Jr. High wrestling meet of the year at York. Congrats to Aaron Willis for winning all three matches and coming in first!
The Blue River Panthers will be heading to Aurora for their 23-24 districts which will be on Feb. 9.
