Change War Update: Our Monday totals put 2G as the elementary class leader so far, and Mrs. Schueth's advisory is on their way to their $50 goal! Great work, everyone. Tomorrow could CHANGE it all with nickels. Bring it on, Huskies!
Exciting News! A new 14U baseball coop is being formed between Shelby, Osceola, and Stromsburg starting this 2026 season! This coop will allow players ages 13–14 to continue developing their skills before making the jump to the Legion level. Must be age 14 or younger on January 1, 2026. Register at https://bit.ly/49qwq0C
Please note this registration form is for SOS 14U baseball coop ONLY. Registration for Shelby-Rising City teams will be posted at a later date.

Our 6th graders are learning how to think about career choices using a tool called SWOT — Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.
This week, students are reflecting on: What they’re good at What they’re still working on What they want to learn more about What might get in the way of their goals
💬 Here’s where you come in: We encourage families and trusted adults to talk with students about what you see as their strengths and areas for growth. Kids often don’t see in themselves what the adults around them notice every day!
These conversations help students: ✨ Build confidence ✨ Better understand themselves ✨ Start thinking about future possibilities
Thanks for being a partner in helping our students grow—academically and personally!

✨ Change War starts Monday! ✨
Next week (Jan 19–23), our students will be collecting spare change to support library programs, student clubs, early literacy, and book access across our school community.
Every coin helps turn “loose change” into books, creativity, and opportunities for kids of all ages Want to help? Start saving your change this weekend. Pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters are all welcome!
Let’s turn small change into a big difference.
